I just fixed that no-sales part for you. Bought three pairs of earrings.

As for getting the word out...does she set up at craft fairs and downtown weekend markets? The weekend market here in Lakeland started as a farmers market, but now it includes all manners of arts and crafts.

alrighty. depending on what scenarios work out, one of my plans involves a lot of time during Thanksgiving week devoted to making lots of wood dust :D

Awesome! No, she tried doing a small fair once, and we talked about doing the big annual fair here in town, but the overhead is just too much in the long run. Especially if you don't sell anything. It's all a learning experience, and we're still trying to figure out the best way to handle things, though.

    Thanks again, she'll be excited.

Thanks! It's all very nice quality and I only hope the pictures do it justice.

You might want to check out my supply of loglets. Earlier this year I lucked into a bunch of cuts of Gum, Cedar, and some other woods I can't quite identify. I've also got an idea for a stabilizing formula I want to try out.

You ever seen one of the Barbershop brand brushes? looks kinda like my Dubl duck but smaller. Maybe even a regular type brush with a deep enough groove in it to hang it on the stand.

I live near a Columbia outlet store. Most of the stuff is about 1/2 price. I don't go in very often because I always walk out with at least one item.

I still have some of my old lead #2 Goose loads around. Keep them around for groundhogs and other assorted pests. The non tox mandate all but ended my water fowling. Haven't seen a wild pheasant around in a few decades, so I go for dove each september and turn money into noise chasing those orange clays the rest of the year.

I have a Mossberg 500 Tactical under the bed that I still have yet run some rounds through. Plus, there is a brick of 1000 shells in the closet...I need to get to the range with all of the guns...5 at last count. I need more guns. The Lakeland gun show is in town this weekend.

Just remember at HD distances you can easily miss with a shotgun. The pattern doesn't have much room to open up and is probably about 4".

Having a shotgun doesn't make you a shotgunner just like having a guitar doesn't make you Stevie Ray. Get out there and shoot. It's fun. The clay games are a great way to build proficiency. If you can hit a 4" disc moving at 45 mph, you would have no problem with larger slower targets.

I also keep a 500 around for HD. Mostly with Federal tactical 00 Buck Shot.
