    Frankly, Joe, I don’t know why I keep the dang thing around!! The result is always the same! :angry032:
    I did a focus on this monster about a year ago with the same bloody result with every shave. I rode the cap, rode the bar, tried at least 6 or 7 different DE blades. They say madness is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result. The real problem is poor mfg quality control. It doesn’t seat the blade evenly in addition to the fact that the top cap is uneven! I should just send this to Patrick (@9nein9) or Terry (@Terry) who both appreciate such abusive tools, but there’s some part of me still convinced I’ll master it! I’m truly nuts as far as this safety razor is concerned! :ashamed001:

    Wonderful shave Jim! You don't have any ugly razors. This Lupo is your least handsome of your collection and it still is nice-looking!

    Great exploratory shave, Andrew! Thanks for your willingness to try these extremely cost-effective shaving tools! The Model 1912 is hands down a great shaver! I’ve seen your DE at our local Dollar and was curious about it. Thanks again! :)

    Great shave, Jim! Aluminum due to the weight doesn’t work for me! I prefer the SS version! YMMV! Enjoy your Sunday! :)

    Thank you,Joe.:cool:..As always Soaps & Aftershave pairing is very subjective...I'll have to try using Old Spice to finish my next Cella shave...I'm happy to use Old Spice to finish any of my shaves, i love it!:love055:

    Straight Razor Shave #230

    6/8 Ralf Aust Full Hollow Spanish Pt
    Semogue OC Super Badger Brush
    Stirling Spice SS and AS
    Whiskers: 26 hours
    Did the same lathering routine as yesterday. It took me almost 2 years to begin liking this brush, now that I have figured out how to use it efficiently. Lol!
    It created one of my best, creamy, luxurious lathers. Did 2 passes with minor pickups to get a BBS shave. Managed to get a open up a cheek weep, but hit it with the pen to fix it. Splashed on the matching juice and I look and smell great. This finishes my double duty with this setup. Tomorrow night's shave will feature Mad Max and it will be double duty for him, too.     Before my recent Cella purchase, I had Razorock Classic which is also a marzipan scent and used Old Spice with it. Since Razorock Classic and Cella are similar, then it was not such a great leap to pair Cella with Old Spice AS.

    Now you've got me thinking!..I also have a sample of 3P shaving soap which has an almond/marzipan scent. Another intriguing combo that i will try out. Thank's, Joe.:cool:
