Thank you Jason! It was 4 days last week and it looks like 4 days this week. We are supposedly having a northeaster late Wed and most of Thursday with predictions of at least 12 inches or just over 30 centimeters. Next Tuesday will be the last day before the winter recess and it looks as though I will be working those 2 days as well.

Do you congratulate someone on an ugly razors shave? ;) Nice choices! I'm a big fan of the VAS.

Welcome to the group Dave. Just so you know, on Tuesdays we all shave standing on one foot and Wednesdays are either pocket mirrors or eyes closed days. Straights and shavettes get double points.

Thursdays there's a "most stitches" contest.

It's all in good fun, Jason. I can't imagine the difficulty of moving letters and packages internationally during a pandemic coupled with the Christmas holiday season. With all the on-line and mail order business we've done, I can't remember the last time we had a problem getting a package delivered.

The package from BC is actually a surprise. We just got a last-minute heads up to watch for it. The delay at the end just becomes part of the back-and-forth fun between us and our friends.

Hang on for a second, I just heard something coming down the street...

    Sad, but true.
One in, one out is saving my bacon these days, but I do have to move a few things out to keep The Force in balance in the universe...

    Shaving recipe for today.

Prep: Warm shower / Cussons Imperial Leather ~ Arctic Ocean & Icelandic Moss Shower Gel.

    Pre:
Cold wet flannel to my face./Yardley ~ English Lavender Bar Soap + Nuage Menthol shaving Oil.
    Brush : Semogue 1305.
    Face Lather.
    Soap : MWF.
    Blade: Gillette Winner. (1)
    Razor: Parker ~ 55SL Semi-Slant.

    Post:
Cold Water Face Rinse./Homemade (~Winter mix~) peppermint Lavender, +eucalyptus, Tea Tree Oil Witch Hazel Mixture./Herbs of Bulgaria Lavender ASL./ Aloe Vera Gel.

    Greetings,

    Early morning shave,

This morning I went for MWF, which for some people the slickness & performance of this soap is overrated each to their own. My personal opinion is i find it a wonderful soap, it does however take longer to get a acceptable lather due to it been a hard soap the post shave as always was first class because of the lanolin within the soap which my mature skin adores.

A enjoyable 3 pass + pick ups near BBS shave with no errors to report. Finishing to the shave off with a small dollop of Aloe Vera Gel...My face is feeling super smooth & smelling divine.;)

Stay safe, and enjoy your Day ladies & gentlemen.

    Thorlo socks.
I stand continuously for 8 to 10 hrs.
Expensive, but I would not want to be without them. Unique terry cloth padding.

    Razor: Blackland Sabre
    Blade: Gem (2)
    Brush: Rubberset 400/ Boar
    Soap: A&E St Barts
    AS 1: Humphrey's Alcoholado Maravilla 70
    AS 2: A&E St Barts
    Fragrance: Tommy Bahama St Barts

So today is another cold and damp day that I'm protesting by going to the Islands with St Barts. Great lather whipped up with the Vintage 400 and a Oumo Boar set in one of @Clouds ferrules. I have several he was generous enough to make me so I can change out knots at will in the Rubberset 400. Thanks Claudio ! Just an amazing smooth shave with the Level 2 Sabre. I like this new addition to the den although I get a longer lasting shave from my Vector. Still a glassy smooth finish that I hope lasts longer today as I continue to dial it in.

So I was asked to tell the story about my Circa 1979 Unbranded Boar brush from yesterday (No doubt a Burma Shave) My older brother was one of the CHEAPEST pests around growing up. Example: When a bunch of us would be running around and invariably stop at McDonalds or wherever to get something to eat, Tim would just order a sandwich while everyone else would order a meal (Fries and Coke with sandwich) As we're sitting and eating Tim would say hey can I have a few fries to one guy and work his way around the table of us. When finished eating, Tim would say hey can I have a sip of your drink? You get the idea........................Now we're shaving and I notice Tim is borrowing my canned goo instead of buying his own ( we worked and bought our own toiletries in the house of 8- blended family) decide to go to Woolworth's and get a brush and Williams soap put in a mug that had my name on it and that stopped Tim from Borrowing/using my stuff. I've had it ever since and I will say my brother that is 18 months my senior has become one of the most generous people you'd ever know. I like to think I trained him :happy108: Have great day Everyone !!!
