The Col. Conk Amber Shave Soap face-lathered well with the Semogue 1305 Boar. First pass with the J.R. Torrey and second pass with Triceratops with a GEM SS PTFE blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Lustray Spice After Shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed... I will be using the Triceratops for five days starting Monday.

Yesterday, a ‘shave off’ featuring a 7/8 Tuckmar and a Gold Monkey, details in the honing thread, but both shaved very well. Gold standard SMN provided the lather fuel via. Simpsons 57, and SMN balm finished up a great shave.

Today I used an old favorite, a Filly 14 Sub Cero, the one that I did 153 shaves with. I haven’t been counting (thank goodness!) but it’s still buttery smooth after a dozen or so shaves. It’s just a wonderful razor. Soap was MdC rose lathered with a Keyhole 4, and a dab of Pen’s Opus 1870 balm finished up a perfect shave. BDBS!

Several days growth, swiped off, by this Russian Beauty(Circa 1975). I had a very nice two pass shave, that left me BBS. Zero issues. Not the prettiest, but it sure can shave.
