Thanks Jeff and yes my brother lives not too far from you in levittown. We don't have the snow but just the flurries from the edge of that storm and sitting at 31°. I'd much rather have this cold body and wet hands sitting in front of a fireplace at home right now LOL

    Thank you, Jason!
Vespers is fantastic! I surely hope it's available should I ever empty this tub. A repurchase for sure.
    Thanks, Jeff!

Great shave, Maestro, but I would respectfully disagree with your characterization of that beautiful Wosty! As a custom car and knife collector, I really appreciate patina! A few careful raps with a tap hammer on that hinge pin would tighten things up. That’s a gorgeous vintage beauty!

Fantastic! As you've probably heard me wax (poetically?) 'ad nauseam', that soap base and scent are top tier for me. That scent has never approached Platinum or American Blend in terms of overall popularity for Fine, but that's ok, more for me. And, yes, those tubs are brutal. It was better when they didn't even bother and charged a few bucks less...
Can't wait for your Terre d'Hermes to come in...that will be an epic combo.

Beautiful photo and shave, Danny! The Feather Supers are extremely sharp. I had the same experience as you when I began using them. A wet shaving friend from Australia, Russell Cheek, Who’s been using them for years, said the key for him was “negative pressure”. They are so sharp that it's always been like lightly brushing away the lather. YMMV, and you’re a highly experienced technical wet shaver, so you should have things dialed in pretty quickly! I would have kept the Hawk V3, but my General and Vector are really all I need! Enjoy your shaves. :)

I have never used a Super in either a V2 or a V3 (mine is the OC version, fwiw) but do get smooth shaves with the regular Feather Pro. I am a 'cap rider' like you referenced, though. After trying a Proline in an Injector, I'll probably pick up a dispenser or two in the AC length.
Just realized that 3 of us all pulled the awesome L'Orange Noir on the same day. A brotherhood of awesomeness.:eatdrink047:

Fabulous shave, Joe! That’s the issue with Japanese Silver Steel razors, the danged things are just amazingly smooth shavers. I have two, and am currently on the hunt for a third. My poor son, Ben, is addicted to the things. He owns over 100 Japanese razors, 90% of which are display queens. That’s how I obtained my R. Saito. I’ve already hinted that it’s a shame that so many great razors aren’t being used. In particular, the one I admire! I did mention to him that Christmas is coming soon. Why buy a present for the old man, when you can just reach up and grab one! Besides, he’ll really only be loaning it to me, and should have it back in a decade or so. Enjoy your day!

Beautiful photo and staging, Jason! Love the use of wood grain! I’ve never used a Perma Sharp. I may have to give them a shot. I’m pretty much a primary Feather/Voskhod user.

A great looking lather in a great looking brush, Joe.
Looks like a good dump of snow there. For reference, I just snapped a pic out the office door. Yup, 1/2" of snow last night in the Canadian Rockies. First moisture in a month. You may notice in the pic that one of my colleagues still has her bike on her car rack.
Can't wait 'til forest fire season at this rate...
