Very cool. Love that handle!

 

The handle is what made me look at it closely. At first I thought it was from another razor, or after market. But after a couple of minutes, my brain registered that I've seen it before then went to @mr-razor's site and found it. Considering it was with a Hoffritz razor case, it was cheap.

 

my newest custom.just a cosmetic upgrade 1969 brit tech.mid 60s french cap with engraved logo and early 60s brit handle-brass/nickel plate 1/4 inch shorter than the 1969 handle.there is no difference in shave quality albeit the slightly shorter handle.the french cap razor had an aluminum handle.

the cool part is i had all these laying around and these later techs ae all interchangeable..i'll now pic out a cool case and use this in rotation..more fun than being a purist..

razor baseplate is brass...

ok the base plate on mine is nickel plate steel,magnetic,with a painted black cap.

 

Even nicer than the one you sold me a few months ago

For some strange reason my cupboard keeps producing razors. Every time I look there there is a dublicate of my collection. Ha!
