Happy Friday Everyone. This week is winding down quickly. Back to MWF for Fat Friday. The Fat seems to work better for me with badger brushes. I think I load more soap in the badger knots. At any rate, the big Rubberset whipped up a mountain of lather. I easily had enough in the brush for 5 or more passes. Three passes and minimal touch ups ended in a near BBS. A splash of Fine Fresh Vetiver and I am off to a client site all day. I hope everyone has a great Friday.

No, because I never knew about twin blades until your post. However, Schick injector razors gave similar heads so I am assuming that no matter what blades are used that rinsing the razor is fine for clearing the cuttings and soap residue.

Joe Joe Joe, you know what assuming does correct? :D the twin blades the way they are stacked and so close together they don't seem to be rinsing real clean so that is the issue that I'm concerned about. I do realize all the heads are the same but that's not the problem. And for all I know there's no problem with the blades being that close together. It just looks like they're not rinsing clean but like I said time will tell and maybe someone that has experience with the longevity of these will chime in. Hope you have a great day. No slipping and sliding around there :happy088:

I'm obviously late to the game on this but clearly there's some ribbing going on. I'll just sit on the sidelines and enjoy it from the cheap seats lol. Sorry Jason

Fabulous Fat Friday shave, Clint. I agree that using natural bristle brushes are better equipped to load more soap. It certainly helps to lather difficult soaps such as MWF.

Very n!ice Jason. That is a beautiful collection in a beautiful display. I really enjoy seeing the craftsmanship this hobby inspires. You do beautiful work.

:) My daughter wanted a resin pressure pot for Christmas. She says it'll be hers, not mine. I told her, good luck using it without a compressor. I'm somewhat certain she will be willing to trade use of her pressure pot for the use of my compressor.

Note: I'm pretty sure she was teasing me when she suggested I won't be allowed to use her gift, but she is a teenager and sometimes forgets I own the rest of the tools she wants to use, but there was that one time she grumped at me for using a tube of glue from her craft supplies... which I purchased for her, and I only used a few drops. :) Teenagers are fun!

Like I said, I never knew about twin injector blades. Thanks for enlightening me on them. So, I finally understand what you are saying. I would think that they would still clean easier than carts. Unless, the space between the blades are just as close. I guess you may have to use a toothbrush if all else fails. By the way, the main roads are cleared, but side streets are still icy. Luckily, my area got 8 in. instead of the predicted 12 to 16 in.

Zero experience with that setup. But the Holiday Inn Express version around our house.....hotter water might help. We always kept the water heater on 'normal' setting. About 5 years ago I replaced the 18 year old unit that came with the house. We put a blanket around this one, set it one notch above normal based on the manual info, never a problem rinsing anything now. Same monthly $, but there was a short lived grumpiness of everyone re-learning faucet blending positions for their shower.

    Super nice Pierpaolo!

Thanks Blair, that emoji is pretty much the face I had when I got up. No coffee or anything but water allowed for at least 30 minutes to an hour after the thyroid meds. Ain't Life Grand !

I have to admit I laughed out loud at your response to her. Then thinking about you dealing with a teenager the thought came to me that next gift request for her is going to be a compressor LOL

Awesome shave in Alabama this morning.

Cella was good stuff this morning. Still working on getting the Hawk dialed in but it is getting there. The Feather Professional Super is a little tuggy on the first pass but smooths out on the second and third passes. Overall I am really liking the Hawk.

    Y'all have a great day!
