    Apparently, based on things I've read, the plating was notoriously thin and many FHs have the brass exposed. Mine is a replate and looks very nice. That is always an option for you if you want it in 'jluc shiny' territory.

    And compared to the auction that ended last night, mine was a great deal....will still have $$ left over if I do head in that direction.

    By the way...I had 2 options come out of my WTB request. There’s still another BFH out there for decent $ (if he hasn’t seen this sale yet). If anyone is looking, maybe shoot me a PM.
