    Surely he'll be missed.

It was said he passed away in a hospital (it's a big building with doctors, but that's not important right now).

Unfortunately I didn't get to watch Airplane! last night as I had intended, but will be doing so soon.

His comedic timing (and skill) is something sorely missed. I love his and Chevy Chases movies when I was younger cuz they were funnier than snot on a doorknob, and twice as slick. Nowadays I realize just how masterful they are at their craft, with facial expressiveness, perfect timing and delivery, and and subtle mannerisms that truly drive the humor, not the in-you-face, attempt at shock value crud that by and large the current crop of comedians produce.

Jim Carrey was that type, but was actually mostly funny doing it, but as he's getting older, I think his comedic ability is maturing and getting better.
I also get a kick out of Steve Carrell, who isn't quite as good as Leslie and Chevy at timing, but has the expressiveness and ability to dead-pan a joke very well.

All this is, of course, my thoughts, which can be fully substantiated by my own opinion. If you don't like it, go get your own! :D
(this is also not an exhaustive list, but I'm done...for now.....we'll see what Micah makes me respond to :happy097)

Now, as for How's My Day? Well, it's Monday. 'Nuff said, right? Nope. It's the Monday after a week off for Thanksgiving. Which makes it, minimally, a double Monday.
I'm also getting a sinus cold, allergies are kicking my mule-y, got nary a wink of sleep last night, stuffy, runny nose, and just blah.

Being from exactly just such a small town, I can confirm with an emphatic "YES" that this is, indeed, exceedingly true

He will be missed, and don't call me "Shirley."

Now, does anyone in this thread speak Jive?

Seriously, Acer? "Restore to factory" should just roll me right back to a fresh install of win7. When I tried installing xp, I didn't wipe the recovery partition for expressly this reason. XP was a no-go, so I just want it back to factory settings. I wonder if I can make a recovery dvd from the other, as-of-yet untouched craptop.

It was probably a sucky job anyway. Boss was a twit and the pay didn't even begin to cover the hassle of dealing with that stupid coworker who wouldn't leave the thermostat alone.

Seriously though, I'm sorry you didn't get the job. If it's any consolation, I've missed out on jobs that I'm better off for not having gotten, though I was sad not to get them at the time.

Maybe you could get a job colouring movies? You only have to know 2 colours!

And on a completely unrelated note: Red Dwarf expires from Netflix Instant on Wednesday, so the 1_8 household has been having a Red Dwarfathon since Sunday. I've watched so much Red Dwarf, I'm dreaming in Red Dwarf, now.
