Well, the Canadian dollar is not as strong as the US dollar, thus the difference in the exchange rate.

High pressure sale on a cemetery plot? I guess anything can be sold aggressively. If you haven't read it I highly recommend "Thinking, Fast and Slow" by Daniel Kahneman

Daniel discusses all kinds of heuristics including tendencies commonly manipulated by salesmen, and lots of other fascinating human tendencies and how they relate to human behavior.

Daniel even explains when you should storm out upset because you're being manipulated and there's likely no way to reach a favorable deal.

I think you'd really like it.

Never would I pay 20 bills for witch hazel though. The yellow bottle was about $7 when I bought it about 2 years ago.

I agree. Your 20 Can is like my 15 US and that's what they were charging at my local drugstore. I almost always buy no-name brands, except shaving items. Lol!

Yes, there is one about 10 min. from me and it's about 3 miles west of me. There are 2 others just over 4 miles. One is southeast and the other is soutnwest of me.

Next time you go there, walk through the aisle that has band-aids, cortisone cream, etc. Look for the bottle linked below. The "T.N. Dickinson's" labeled bottle is marketed for first aid and is cheaper than the "Dickinson's" bottles targeted for beauty purposes. They are from the same company (based in Connecticut).

    Here's the Walmart link.

My purchases were from Wallyworld. The local drug stores charge more than that . It's robbery.

    Razor: Gillette Redtip A3
    Blade: Personna Platinum Chrome
    Brush: MrEE X3 Clone
    SS & AS:

I really messed up my face the last 2 days. A combination of a razor I'm not good with and a little stress and I've got a lot of weepers that I reopened this morning. Im very use to this RedTip so it was very telling. Perhaps Jeff is right and I should use the progaurd blades for a little while.

Made my oldest drive us to the store and had my youngest tag along. Kelsie's skittish driving but is happy with a few surprise features of her new car. Cool effect lights all over the car.

My youngest is very into unicorns and if we weren't trying to declutter the unicorn panda may have come home with us.

I have had shaves like that as well. It's part of the shaving process. I hold off shaving for a few days until my skin says all clear. Have a good day, Evan! Oh, nice picture of your youngins'.

    Greetings,

After the wonderful shave using the Chinese cologne soap in my previous shave i went for the Blue's goat milk soap another Chinese made soap that i used a lot when i first started out, however, i can't remember the last time that i added it to my soap rotation and totally forgot how well it lathers and it's wonderful post shave feel.

A enjoyable 3 pass + pick ups close comfortable/near BBS shave with no errors to report...Finishing to the shave off with a few liberal squirts of Geoffrey Beene EDT to the pulse points.

My face is feeling super smooth & smelling divine.;)

Stay safe, and enjoy your Day ladies & gentlemen.

While Aramis brings back memories of my father, to my nose, it's just a bit dated. I never developed an emotional attachment to the scent, therefore, I was ok passing it on.
My Terre d'Hermès, however, has been cooling its heels at an Indianapolis USPS facility for about a week now. :angry019:

Many, Chris...and more each day. The niche house of Nasomatto is really impressing me. If you look hard, you can find it on the gray market. Retail is pricey. The vintage Diors, Paco Rabanne, Santa Maria Novella and Creed (some) are a few of my favorites. I am weeding out many from my den. As my nose matures, so does my scent collection. Plus, I have been slowly becoming active on basenotes.net which is a forum for parfumerie and has a forum/data base/reviews, etc.

Regarding EdP vs. EdT. While the concentration of aroma scents may be greater in an EdP, that does not always mean your nose will like it
better. For example, I have an almost empty bottle of Tom Ford Grey Vetiver EdT. Fantastic. Saw an add for a 100ml bottle of the EdP. I thought Wow, that's a great deal and it's even stronger!
Turned out I didn't even recognize the scent and never developed a liking for it. Sold.
    You never know.

You have had some psychological trauma recently, Evan. Things will return to normal soon, as will your shaving. Breathe slowly and hug your daughters.
