    That is really sad...

    Again best of luck to you Bill! One of the added perks, at least when my wife worked there, is 10% off purchases for employees.

    It is really sad - unfortunately if you take a look around the larger lots in this area it is a very common thing to see. Sometimes you will see a van in one lot for a few days and then it will move on to another. Most of the stores do not want them around so they force them to move on. There is a Safeway lot here that has about 6 families living in their lot and they actually try to help them out. They even brought in some Honey Buckets.

    Yes things are pretty bad around here and I am very thankful for what I do have even if it is a struggle.

    Thankful for the friends I have here at TSD also.

    Time for a little Good Mojo dancing for Bill and the job prospect!

    JoAnna-> :happy093
    Jim-> :scared011

    Jim's not a very good dancer but he makes up for it with his enthusiasm.

    yes indeedy, the other part of the reason I'm considering working there part time, extra income in the form of check and discount.
    btw, I hope that doesn't sound greedy of me, the ONLY reason I even consider it is all the medical bills that have piled up the past couple years, and some more that are expected in the near future, which does not include accidents that are, naturally, unplanned.

    like that. I'm very thankful for what we are able to do and do have
    I KNEW IT!!! You did have a micro-camera in that razor! It's the only way you'd know that! :happy102

    Yep. You fell for my "Oh no, my razor is broken. Please help" scam. :D

    Don't feel bad you're not the first. Bill (dridecker) keeps falling for it, in fact.

    (anyone know how long it takes a netbook to completely dry out after taking a shower in coffee?)

    Turn it off

    Turn it upside down.

    Let it sit for 2 or 3 days.

    Turn it on and pray

    already done, + some minor disassembly, cleanup w/ alcohol and some physical drying. everything looks fine, didn't get past the keyboard, HDD, memory, sys board everything's fine, just need it to dry out.

    I just some(Micah)one had posted "THE WARNING!!!" before I read his post :happy097

    Ya no kidding. Then you are responsible for the work regardless of the situation

    I had a guy call me the other day. I worked on his PC probably a month ago and hooked up a new printer he bought. He called me complaining that his printer would not print a page he urgently needed. I asked him if the printer was on...it wasn't.

    Users are dumb and we have to take the blame for everything

    One of the reasons why I don't want to do private work any more

    yeup. Fortunately/Unfortunately, I don't get that luxury, since my being paid requires me to troubleshoot computer and network/server issues. But, it's not private work, and I'm lucky enough 99.99999999% of the problems stay at work when I leave.

    And yeah, I don't know why a female dog had anything to do with the printer not working...:rolleyes: :happy102

    My day was great! Got a 105 on a math quiz, placed a brush order, and completed my superspeed colored tip family! Too bad I failed a health test. I didn't realize we had it so soon.
