Tuesday 12/22/20 Shave. Been a long day setting things up with the family for Christmas this year. Managed to shave this morning just didn't get around to posting. Hope everyone is having a great week so far. Merry Christmas!

 

That's awesome! I am sorry that I mislead you, but I am focused to get my workout done within a ceetain amount of time. I rest 5 minutes in between sets and 2.5 minutes in between reps. During the breaks is when I talk to some of the mature men who I have seen for years at the gym. So it is somewhat social in that regard. I am not there talking 20 min at a clip because then I would not get the full benefit of the workout and I don't want to spend 3 to 4 hours to do it. There is this 70 yr old fella in our group that is there for 4 hrs and he does his workout, but he is a constant talker. I like the guy, but I only take him in small doses. Lol!

 

Thank you Danny. I most definitely will take some time to relax and enjoy my family. You do the same.

That's pretty cool! The spiral knurling looks good. I purchased some brass round stock for making razor handles I just haven't used it. I suppose for these it would be better to start with tubing.

Joe , I do not know a lot about this brand of razor. Over a year ago, I had Glen , @gssixgun, work on a Genco razor. He had mention that several NY razor were made with quality steel and were excellent shavers. He included the Thistle brand razor I. The discussion. I believe Jeff, @jgreenepa, recently had Glen work on a Thistle for him. Jeff has been raving about the sharpness of the blade done on a 30k sharpton.
Anyway, I forwarded a couple of pictures of the razor to Glen. He response was: “Geez that is in great shape. You scored.”
