    Good morning, Bruce. Here's a better look at the DTC jeans. They are heavy duty, but I wear them everywhere. I'm not known 'round these parts for being a fashionista. :) The Silver Jeans look great. Much more stylish than DTC.

    I have a friend my age that wears skinny jeans. He's very trim and fit, and they look OK on him. I'm not fond of that style, though.

    It should be good! The last two times he visited, he woke up early excited to shave with G-pop. I lather him up and we shave together. It’s a hoot! :)

    I decide to go with a classic old school type shave this morning. Tomorrow and Christmas Day will feature a scent more appropriate for this time of year.
    My past two shave with the Williams Mug soap have been fabulous. I have take the liberty to add four or five drops of glycerin to my lather bowl prior to adding the soap filled brush. The boar brush managed to whip up a nice lather.

    The usual three pass shave was comfortable with any surprise appearances by Lord Weeper. The overall skin feel is nice, not the same as with the upper echelon of soap artisans. That being said, this shave would be classified as a DFS+.

    Now it is time to run a few errands, make the sauce for Christmas and bake a birthday cake for my mother along with some other Cooke’s. Have a great day gentlemen.

    I just had a crazy thought. Yes, another one. :) Tomorrow, post your SOTD before you actually shave. Envision your IDEAL SHAVE and write it accordingly. Then enjoy a nice, relaxing shave. Going through this exercise may remind you not to skip any steps, such as A&DTG. Even if it takes a few days for your actual shave to match your ideal shave, I'll bet you'll begin to more consistently approach it.

    Many of the YouTube shavers rarely go back to the puck for more soap or re-hydrate their lather during the shave. Some don't even stretch their skin well or check for missed spots before putting their gear away. All of these things are totally acceptable. Don't hesitate to do whatever works for you. :)
