    Quick drop in time: This post is dedicated to @Trigger who is interested in an Art Razor so I used my Art Razor 'Saga' and to @Primotenore who final has accepted that he is a fraghead, so I pulled out my vintage Chanel Cuir de Russie.

    This is my Christmas eve morning shave, as I have to work today and was running a tiny bit late I went with my standard 4 pass shave. The razor is a 6/8 Art Razor 'Saga' with a half hollow grind. Sorry about the finger prints on the blade and a profile shot on the blade, it is a fine looking razor. It appears that Art Razor has moved on to specialize in really huge blades now but the quality of my Saga is very nice. The Thäter 2 band and CK-6 formula soap are some of my favorites and performed to expectations. The shave was excellent.

    Chanel CDR is one of my favorite frags, it is a combination of florals and suede. I actually prefer the modern version as the older version is more feminine, heavier on the florals and has lost the aldehydes. Still it is a very nice juice.

    Jason, you have a beautiful home. The photo looks like a Christmas card with the snow. I am glad to hear that Stephanie is doing ok. Happy birthday to your son. I know from personal experience that a Christmas birthday can be rough.

    Thanks gentlemen. I appreciate the kind words.

    My shaves don't vary much from one day to the next. I use the same gear for at least a month. I'm always on the lookout from my "shave school" friends here for things to help me improve. That has allowed my basic technique to slowly evolve over the past few years and has given me the confidence and ability to get a good shave with any gear.

    I shared a few extra details in this post to hopefully help someone else. With solid technique, it's amazing how repeatable shaves become and how much control one actually has over the result. I continually pay attention to what works for you all, hoping to take my shaves to the next level. You all have helped me tremendously, and I thank you for it.
