If any of you guys have an account on any of the gawker sites (lifehacker, gizmodo, io9, etc.) you might want to change your password. Their twitter account got hacked, and the person who did it claimed to have hacked their servers and obtained 1.5 million user names and passwords. It's probably not true, but it wouldn't hurt to change your passwords up, just in case.

Just discovered that the all-time worst movie ever made is available for streaming on Netflix. I just might have to queue it up.

huh... they are talking about another 20 inches of lake effect overnight. I am sick of winter already.

 

This was a pretty bad movie.

 

We've had a really mild winter here so far, Justin. First snow hasn't even reared its head yet.

 

2 Idiots go to Hollywood was pretty bad, too.

At one point in the movie, the producer stops the film and says, "Because you've actually watched this much of this horrible movie, you will obviously watch anything. That's why we'd like to take a moment and show you a few minutes from another feature currently in production."

Then they show 5 minutes of "Lobster Man From Mars." Mind you, they don't show you a five minute scene with a beginning and an end--no, they start it in mid-sentence, and end it in mid-sentence, as though they just grabbed a random five minutes worth of film.

The hand turning the clock forward to indicate the passage of time, is a nice touch, too.

Ah the joys...

County government is closed.
City government is closed.
Weather emergency with emergency only vehicles on the road..
Banks are closed.

School is open. Yay! Now how do I get there?

There is still an outside chance we will close; however, the people down in the state capital say the weather isn't too bad there so we shouldn't shut down. And actually, we shouldn't. I just hate two hour delays. The only thing it will accomplish is make it light outside when you slip and slide around on the road instead of it being dark and slipping and sliding in privacy...

 

Oddly enough, we were looking through Netflix for Christmas movies and saw that one listed. I almost queued it - just for kicks.

 

Well... the state says we have to have school. The sheriff has closed roads and is threatening to ticket anyone on the roads. Guess the local law wins this round..
