    Can't let Decadent December get away without a decadent shave.
    This one mos def© qualifies.
    You can spend a LOT more money on shave soap, but honestly, I defy anyone to find a better
    product than the original AoS tallow soaps, made by Valobra.
    This soap checks ALL of the boxes.
    Slick...check
    Cushiony...check
    Stable...check
    Protective...check
    And scent---the sandalwood in particular...double-check.

    Naturally, a decadent brush is required and today I chose a unique brush in my shave den,
    because it's the only Morris & Forndran brand remaining.
    This is a Pre-collaboration, 100% Lee Sabini Ali Baba 2.
    It has a fan knot and fairly rare gel tips.
    The razor-du jour is my new Gustave Lalune 6/8, drop-forged French straight.
    This is a really sharp razor and with 48 hours growth, I gave it something to do.
    Cleaned it all off without incident. Used my last bottle of the Thayer's discontinued Medicated Witch Hazel,
    a gift from the not-heard-from-in-a-while @timabababaluka
    I am sure you will all join me in wishing him well, wherever he is.
    For the decadent scent, I chose the boozy-smelling Nasomatto Baraonda.

    All-in-all, a wonderful shave.

    That kid doing the Williams video, saying 1/2 way through it "I really don't like this soap" could have corrected his egregious error by coming right back with "But you viewers might".
