    thats cool,i can turn the flash off at least with the cell phone.that first shave pic i posted had the flash off .straight up light from the trouble light..quite impressed..:).now just to dial it in a bit..:)

    Danny, pass the sausage balls. I HAVE heard of them. That's the one thing we forgot to make this year. Maybe I can talk Kathy into making a batch in the next few days.

    Blair, gimme a quart of gumbo and a spoon please. Got any Louisiana style hot sauce, or do I need to bring some?

    Gary, kudos on the light box. I purchased a collapsible light box on Amazon a few years ago and built a light rack out of PVC pipe. I used clamp on light fixtures with day light LED bulbs. The box itself diffused the light. I've also used the lights without the box using paper towels as diffusers. It was definitely homebrew and kinda big, but it worked pretty good. I need to get it out and set it up. I used the flowery sheet floor covering for artistic effect. :eek:

    Tonight I don't have a picture, as I have focused on time with family. The Shave, however, was the perfect Christmas shave. In fact, it was the best straight razor shave yet, leaving me incredibly smooth and bloodless. I used the same Solingen razor, citrus spice for a Christmas theme, the copper lather bowl because it was fun the last time (I usually face lather), and Nor'Easter aftershave shave, because it is excellent. I could not have had a better shave with my Gillette old type or my Fatboy. Merry Christmas to all of you.
