Great R41 shave Maestro! Is that a Weber handle on your safety razor? If so, it’s the same combo I prefer on mine! Enjoy your day! :)

They do work with injector blades, Dave, but are a bit fiddly to set up. The resulting shave is well worth it!

My first wife was fond of saying, “the only difference between men and boys is the size of their toys”, generally in reference to the amount of money routinely sunk into TR6 upkeep! Although she would definitely change it from ‘the size of their toys’ to ‘is that they both like to play with new toys’! :D

Thanks, Joseph! Glen Mercurio feels strongly that it’s really the best finisher for the money. I still like the jasper stone, but will be interested in the difference, if any, in the edge produced. Glen feels it will be so subtle I may not notice! We’ll see! I’m all about edges the way you are about scents! :)

That is a truly beautiful safety razor and brush combo, Jim! That Helix really delivers the goods for you! How’s it stack up against your beloved H&S No75? Enjoy your day!

Here is the recipe I made, although I do not add chicken, it's entirely seafood. Real crab meat is used instead of chicken. Results are very very very good, and scaringly close to the handwritten recipe I have from my grandmother passed to my mother, passed to me. The linked recipe below does lack 4 essential Cajun ingredients which I find odd. White Pepper, Black Pepper, Red Pepper and Filè powder. I use roughly 1.5 teaspoons of each (I don't measure) for a very traditional spicy seafood gumbo.

What's so fun about the recipe from my grandmother and mother, is that it's only a list of ingredients, like a shopping list. There are no measurements other than the same amounts of vegetable oil & flour for the roux, as well as a note that the roux must be done in an iron pot, and takes 45+ minutes of stirring on medium heat so it's not burned.
