Thanks, Clint! It’s good you’re continuing to work hard, Carbon brand safety razors aren’t cheap! :D

That doesn’t look like an ugly razor to me, Joe! I’m sure you’ve probably already checked it out, but Glen has a great video on using the 12k for touch ups! That swooping X stroke he demonstrates works great for smiling blades, like your Drew Dick! It worked beautifully on my R. Saito SK3. Enjoy your day! :)

Well, Jeff. I'm sorry you didn't recognize a high compliment when you saw one. You actually eschewed the use of a dremel and other power tools to lather MWF. I thought that was remarkable. :eatdrink047:

I hope you are doing well, my friend. Congrats on your new Christmas goodies. :happy036:

Y'know, I've been commenting a few times about the reviewer of a Central Texas Soaps product who said CTS is a "Stoylin ripoff". Copying the reviewer's theme, I'd like to say that the artisan shave co. Wet The Face is a "Phoenix A. A. ripoff", in that WTF covers lots of variety in its soaps/aftershaves, and also when you're on thw WTF site you get to see who from what location just bought what, both in concert with Phoenix A.A.

Charlie, let me say that you must have scored high on the Verbal part of your SAT, by using the word "eschew". Oh, I just DID say that!! :).

Great combination for the shave, nice results & image Barry!

That Carbon Razor is a looker Dave, but I'm a fan of firmly held DE blades as well. Nice shave and video.

Very nice Joe! Love the Cella and Chella Cool!

Excellent image and setup Gary! Oud Santal? Sounds nice.

That's me as well...I'm only a skin stretcher when using a shavette....the face flexing stretching still works 99.9% of the time for this mug.

Incredible everything Joseph! Images, report and results, no fun on the SS tugging though.

Really nice image and love the brush & setup today Jim!

Nice Sunday shave with bowl lathered Maca Root & Aloe. It's such a great cream, I don't know what I even have all these other creams for ;)

Super cool Bokeh effect Pierpaolo! Love the Focus Frankenrazor.

Fun setup with the AWC and Gem Jeff! Great thoughtful gift with the Naniwa 12k, really cool.

I'd definitely agree Paul, mimicry is a form of flattery. Makes it hard to differentiate a manufacturer in a crowded field though. I do believe there's a quality difference though....PAA, Stirling and the other artisans products that nail it for me are the ones whose aftershaves/splashes/etc have quality fragrances w/longevity over 4 hours.

Not to be an enabler here(but I'm gunna be one anyway, lol)...Agadir's aftershave(at AgadirMen) lasts over 4, to join the ones you mention. But you're right, it's a very crowded field. I also must admit, I saw PAA's site way before Wet The Face(talkinabout mimicry).

Great report and images Danny, love it! When we did a slight remodel of our master bathroom, wifey went with a nicer carpet than put in by the builder, so things just bounce :D. She hates cold floors. Do you have tile where you shave?

I get it Chris....same feeling once/twice a year. Great setup and shave!
