Lol, there are two of them! Christmas morning, a fancy back Joseph Rodgers with IC Mango Oil soap and Rhubarb balm. Great Christmas scent - it was a tossup between IC and Floris 89. A M&F two-band did the lathering.

Two passes and touch ups with the Joseph Elliot 6/8 wedge straight gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Lustray Spice After Shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
Well the edge I put on the Filly last night was peachy. I think that particular stone is more of a polisher (as evidenced by not so black slurry) and the edge has to be essentially ‘there’ before finishing with it - kind of like a Thuri but it does cut more than a Thuri. Anyway, soap was Strop Shoppe Russian Tea with tallow, and a bit of ABC Apricot hull for the cold dry weather finished up a BDBS shave.

A sword? Isn’t it a little bit tricky under the nose? All though it must be nice on the cheeks Skickat från min iPhone med Tapatalk
Surprisingly it is not a significant challenge under the nose. The tip of the blade is positioned with a slight angle high up under the nose and a “guillotine” stroke is used for the WTG pass. On the other hand, the heft makes the ATG pass far easier
Blue number two, soap was Floris Elite lathered with a Keyhole 4, Myrsol AB paired beautifully since I’m out of Elite AS.
