This is going to be a Triceratops week. I have red, green, and black ones. Today, red top, green handle.

The C.O. Bigelow Shave Cream face-lathered well with the Jayaruh #395 Badger. Two passes and touch ups with the Triceratops 3D Printed Razor with a Personna GEM SS PTFE blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Pinaud Citrus Musk EdC. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

2020-12-28, Monday

This morning I woke up and, since it's still free of charge, I looked out the window and this is what I saw.



I saw it directly, so better than in this picture and, given the situation, I avoided my usual 30 miles run.

The snow was falling, muffling the silence in which I live, and I thought some music from the '30s would be fine: I love Django Reinhardt very much.

And, as a soap I chose one with an enveloping and refined scent.

The cutters did an excellent job and I am happy.

Menthol Monday:

Stirling Mentholated Pre Shave Soap

After this intense menthol bombardment it’ll take almost the whole day for my face to thaw out - even the mentholated pre shave soap has a good cooling sensation and it’s pretty much unscented, it does a great job of cleaning my skin and softening my tough beard stubble. The Glacial Black Cherry soap is a menthol atom bomb with a lovely scent, fantastic lather which is so rich, slick as hell, and super protective. The Glacial Unscented balm soothed and moisturized my skin, not to mention how much extra iciness it added, and the Arctique aftershave is not only lethally cold - it smells awesome. Three passes gave me a brilliant BBS shave!

What a wonderful shave to start the week with, so smooth and easy and made my face very happy. Hadn't used the Lea Mentholated SC in a long time and now wonder why. It works great for me and is a real face freezer. So all is well and ready for a new year. Hope it's better than the last one. Now go enjoy your day folks
