Awesome stuff Gary. I have been tempted to check out the Asian Pear. I have enjoyed their Asian Plum.

Awesome shave Blair. Is the citrusy “scent” to the Bay Rum, more on the Orange side or would you describe it as lemon or lime?

Awesome looking brush. I came across this one when I was investigating for a butterscotch colored brush.

Every time I catch a whiff of this juice at Walmart, the following descriptors come to mind:

    crème de la crème
    je ne sais quoi
    soigné
The scent always comes a close second to a nice pot of country ham and pinto bean soup cookin' on the stove.

Something tells me that being a FragDaddy is a deep hole to fall into... :)

I'd like to see where Agadir is on this(essential oil). AgadirIntl has been my main source for Oud-well, until I ordered the Razorock version(Tuscan Oud).

Ohhhh ok. I saw what you said about "treating" myself there, but I didn't see where you said they have things no one else has.

I went to Italy and became an Olive Oil snob. Now I come to the 30DC, and I'm officially an Oud snob too. :happy005:

Ok....now I'm having to think too hard, so I went and pulled out 3 Bay Rum examples from PAA. Pineapple Bay Rum, Space Nog, and Atomic Age Bay Rum (AABR). All 3 stand on their own and are different. Take the lid off, big whiff, think on it. Wait 30-45 seconds, move to the next bottle. Repeat....

Pineapple Bay Rum - Juicy Fruit Gum, the aroma when opening a fresh package, near perfect match to my nose (and yes, I have JF gum around all the time)

Space Nog - Bright citrus sweet, can't really get a distinction between orange/lemon/lime. If I have to choose, I'd go with a mandarin orange aroma, but tangy & sweet. Then there's the familiar PAA AABR base.

Atomic Age Bay Rum - nothing but deep 'oak' woodsy barrel aged Bay Rum

What I should do.....is go get a nice adult beverage Rum to mix in with our leftover Egg Nog for a better comparison :D. It's a long running holiday tradition for wifey and me around the holidays, spiked with her Father's favorite addition, brandy. Rum would be a different option, and go well with our next Pirates of the Caribbean episode in the next day or two.
