Andromeda Strain arrived today in the mail. I haven't seen it in years... I'm kind of excited.

Silly, huh?

I tell you, though, it's weird watching movies without worrying about rating them--it became such a habit. Refreshing, though.

 

they did a miniseries remake of Andromeda Strain, right? I haven't seen it but I have seen the posters. I take it you're watching the 70s classic.

you don't rate them on netflix? I don't always leave a written review, but I do always give a star rating. I've found some decent movies through their recommendation system.

 

Oh yeah, I always rate them (almost always 5 stars--big surprise huh?). I don't write reviews, but I do take a moment to give them a star rating, but that's not really the same as what I was doing for my challenge. You would be right in assuming I mean the 70's classic.

 

Micah, have you seen my copy of the new Battletoads?

 

Reaction to the Auburn win? It was a good game, even if the O couldn't quite pull it off.

Foot of snow last night (school is still on at the moment). How are things there?

 

Snow in New England

On the one hand, it's flattering to be considered "essential personnel" when the Governor calls an official snow day.

On the other hand, it made for a fairly scary ride in to work in the dark at 6:00 AM. I'm at a mobile satellite communication earth station (sounds impressive doesn't it), and we're manned 24/7. Been an interesting day at work so far. Taking a quick break, but I'd better end it here. Later, everybody!

 

Finally, A day with a high above freezing. The last two days have had highs under 20ºF.

 

no snow. temp was in the 20s when I drove to work this morning. that's pretty doggone low for this area.

 

I needed some good news today, and instead, I got freaking fantastic news!

 

On lockdown at work right now. I guess a guy stole a car and dumped it in this area. He may be armed.

 

A little shameless advertising okay? My wife just set up a facebook page for her online shop.
