    That’s great Evan! Maybe at some point you can even build straight razors with wedge blades to keep it simpler from a grinding perspective! :)

    Good for you, Andrew! You and Joe (@Trigger) have seen the light! Enjoy your shaves, old curmudgeon that I am, I’ll be sticking with cold water! I’ve done hot water, but just prefer cold! YMMV! Enjoy your shaves! :)

    Never a truer word spoken, Barry! I have far too much variety, particularly in safety razors! Like you, I’m a fan of the R41. Mine is 2011 vintage, and really does a bang-up job on my dome! I have found that a heavier handle has made the shave more enjoyable for me. I have a Weber bulldog on mine and like the heft and grip over the regular handle which I sold a year or so ago. I’ve already PIF’d a number of razors and soaps to newbies. I really only use three soaps regularly, so will probably eliminate several won in a FB Shave group raffle. Great photo and summary as usual! I do enjoy your reports! Enjoy your shaves! :)
