Early morning shave, late afternoon post. Just completed our visit with my father and we are now at the airport waiting for our flight. Naturally, as luck would have it, the flight is now delayed one hour. Oh well, I guess I can try to play catch up with all of your posts over the last 20 hours.

Finally travel shave with the Dollar Tree razor delivered another fabulously smooth and comfortable shave. The shave stick provides me with an opportunity to face lather after a cold water splash of the face.
Starting tomorrow, my next five shaves will be my top five shave soap I acquired in 2020. Following this mini-focus, I will alternate with a soap I want to complete followed by a soap for variety. Again, my goal for 2021 is to finish at least 5 containers of soap in the hope to reduce the den a little. Of course, if someone decides to provide a soap for the upcoming birthday I will happily accept it.

Super nice Evan! Love the Blue Monster and that Dovo. A lot of the fun of straight razor shaving is all the precarious angles and strokes, mimicking what you'd do with a safety to get the same results.....all the while of not letting the crimson flow!

 

How about when Ralph serves up Kran-Mars Mystery Appetizer to his boss? The appetizer turns out to be dog food.

First shave of the month, with a bunch of focusses on the go. A rare bowl lather today got the Palmolive right where I wanted it. I’ll use it every 2nd day until it is done. 3 passes with the Katana without incident. Hadn’t used a Voskhod in probably close to 3 years. Not as smooth as a few of my regulars, but it was fine. Ok results, but no red at least.
