Hi Friends,

my first shave in this young year (03.01.2021)


Razor: Dubl Duck Special No 1 // Soap: Tabac // Brush: Mühle Synthetic // Aftershave: Tabac // Music: Pearl Jam - Ten

Yeah, good shave. I bought the Dubl Duck from a friend of mine. He freshly sharpened it before. The sharpness was a bit too "aggressive" for my skin, but the shave itself was very good. Gentle enough to have fun while shaving.

The Rest? Tabac is Love for me, the brush performed very well and Pearl Jam made the sound. Comfy!!!

SOTD SUNDAY MORNING, JANUARY 3, 2021

RAZOR: A. Witte Copperhead Solingen 6/8 (Mug), Ronson Safety Razor
BLADE: Schick Proline B-20 Injector
PREP: Cold water rinse followed by a scrub with Argan Oil
BRUSH: Alpha Shaving T-400 Tribute w/ 26mm Boar Ferrule
SOAP: Mitchell’s Wool Fat
POSTSHAVE: Cold water wash with brush squeezings followed by Humphreys Lilac WH and Osage Rub.

 

Sunday Schick shave, Jan 3rd 2021

Razor: Schick adjustable injector, M3- Excellent razor & well built for a plastic & steel razor, excellent results. WTG 3 + ATG 4.
Blade: Personna SS PTFE injector (5) excellent blade, very sharp and smooths out nicely, great longevity.
Soap: Haslinger Schafmilch, nice mild clean scent + excellent lather qualities.
Brush: Yaqi red Zebra 26 mm knot- excellent brush, one of my favorites for 26mm knots, heavenly cloud like soft tips, good scrub.
Pre shave: Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser + a dollop of clear Aloe Vera gel on cleaned beard area.
Prep: Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups, WTG setting 3+ ATG setting 4 + pickups.
Post shave: Fine fresh Vetiver with witch hazel + a dollop of Nivea balm.
Results: CCS,DFS,BBs + minor irritation + 1 blemish weeper = Excellent shave with my Schick adjustable injector M3,+personna coated blade.
