    Thanks Tim. Mervyn is a true artisan. I sent him a birth year coin, which he gladly placed into the handle. This made for a truly individual brush.

    Schick Easy Rider injector, (S)chick blade

    One last shave with this razor before it gets sidelined for awhile. Razor is definitely not what you'd expect. It outshaves your standard fare Type L Schick injectors while being milder. End result BBS finish achieved.

    A beautiful dreary day. And chilly!
    Minimal growth; the choice was not forced: almost all my razors meet these needs.
    The desire for vetiver determined that of the soap: I practically only have one.

    The blade, on the other hand, surprised me: by closing the angle of attack, it was much milder.
    I'm sure you guys knew this, but in your indifference, none of you never told me.
    You are all excluded from the my estate, you know!

    I felt (pleasantly) the alcoholic kick, but without any uncomfortable sensations.
    I reiterate that the Rapira is not my favorite blade, but a definitely viable alternative.

    This week I am going back to the 60s. I am going to try one pass shaves like I used to do. I may even do a second pass in the PM.

    The Barbasol Original Shaving Cream was applied with the Burma Shave Boar. One pass and touch ups with the Schick L with a Personna Injector blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Barbasol AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...



    Update: 6:50 PM

    Well, I did it. I did my second shave today. Same setup and just one pass. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed... I also smell good with Barbasol AS goodness.
