Thank you Gary. Only my 2nd shave with this razor but they were awesome shaves. It just seems to glide and erase the whiskers. Very smooth and efficient.

MMMonday, Jan4th 2021- Good morning A.S.R affectionados

Razor: Gem Clog Pruf(Peerless model 17 nib SafetyBar)- MFG 1945
Blade: Gem Personna SS PTFE (7) Excellent blade, very sharp, smooths out nicely, great longevity & predictable IMO.
Soap: Razorock Lavender - excellent scent and excellent lather qualities, on 2nd tub.
Brush: Razorock Plissoft 24mm- this is my oldest most used at one time synthetic brush(old faithful) soft tips with a good scrub.
Pre shave: Brush wash my whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser + a dollop of clear Aloe vera gel on the beard area.
Prep: Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave: Razorock King Louis Lavender with witch hazel + a dollop of Nivea balm.
Results: CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers = excellent shave with my Gem Clog Pruf Peerless model and a coated Gem blade.( does not get a whole lot better).

Awesome morning shave, the soap isnt as slick as some but just good enough. The scent is why i really use it. The razor works well with the feather.

Today was a shave with my heartthrob razor of all time.

It is a nearly identical grind to the Paragon I last used. It is curvier however. I wanted to see how they compared and they shave very similar which was no surprise. Not the greatest first pass WTG reduction but very nice finish. I’d say today’s Napoleon was a slightly better shave than the Paragon.

The Leaf Twig came in today. First shave and not too shabby at all. A DE half blade with an injector type like feel and shave. 24 hours of growth and gone in 3 passes with some minor touch ups. Get a few more shaves in to see if it’s a keeper or a goner. A wonderful evening and shaves to all....​
