Thank you, OudDude! I've never tried another handle on the SC. I may give it a go later this month.
Thanks Danny! The watch means a lot to me for a few different reasons. Ice cream is (mostly) out this week. I enjoyed myself too much over the holidays, and I need to lose a couple of pounds.
Thanks Jeff. We had fun and decide to do it again tomorrow. This MOLC is a good gig.
Thanks Joe. JR #160 is a fantastic brush that will always be in my Den. The knot has broken in nicely. @Jayaruh is a master craftsman and a super nice gentleman.
Thanks Jason. I was fortunate to find the razor on eBay. I wouldn't mind picking up a spare LC and SC if any of my 30 DC brothers has any for sale. I never want to be without these two models in my Den. After owning a Hammy for awhile, I see what all the fuss is about. This is just about the perfect everyday watch. I love the history that it represents, that it has a swiss auto movement, and that it's just easy to wear. Life is good...and hopefully getting better this year. :)
Thanks Blair. I appreciate the kind words. :)

@jtspartan the CHH tobacco is just a good all around drugstore variety aftershave but from Germany. I was just wanting something different to use so as not to go thru all my Terre D'Hermes or lime aftershaves while using up the soap. Funny as you're the 2nd comment on the Aftershave choice and pairing. Sometimes there's no reason for my choices other than science and experimentation. :chores016::eatdrink047:

I have a SC that I would move on to you if it is important to you to have another, Charlie.
FYI, in terms of watches, one of your previous enabling attempts took root- I have a Vostok auto on the slow boat (literally, I fear) from Russia.

I hear you, Dave. I just got in a bottle of Vintage (MIM, pre Dana) English Leather. I'll pair it with the Palmolive Menthol, for Science (and Focus)!

@jtspartan This was a gift from another member that said it's a cheap and run of the mill aftershave but unavailable in the states. Hope I can get more as I like it. Not a strong scent but feels good. Nice staple to keep around like Skin Bracer and Aqua Velva at least to me.

Thanks Jason. I will PM you regarding in the SC.

Vostoks are simply cool watches. I've perused the website many times but haven't pulled the trigger yet. Which model did you order? I love some of the more outlandishly styled ones. While in Chistopol, Tatarstan, you know... :)

I recently watched a YouTube video where a watchmaker completely dissembled and reassembled a Vostok movement. He paid a little more attention to cleaning and lubricating the parts as they went back together. Afterward, he put it on the Timegrapher, and it ran as accurately as any fine Swiss watch. The movements are obviously not decorated, but they look to be solidly built. Big thumbs up from this old watch lovin' hillbilly. :D

Not at all! In fact it’s probably the smoothest shaving razor I own next to my Silversmith. It’s designed for riding the bar. Great shaver! :)

Thanks Joe. We had fun today being outside and catching up with friends. We decided to do it again tomorrow. We live near E.P. Tom Sawyer State Park where there are some very nice walking trails.

How was Middle School? Bet you had fun and probably got more exercise that I did chasing after the Yutes.

I just made a new video of this evening's shave with my Schick E3. It is showing my unorthodox way of lathering the quick and easy way. From start to finish, it took just over 10 min. I didn't chase the baby and ended with a IBSS+ shave. Hopefully it will be posted here this evening.
