Thank you Jason. Having this week as virtual turned out to be a blessing in disguise. If we had to be physically in school with the kids then we would not have been able to make the trip to Florida last week to have a vacation and see my father. Under Czar Cuomo’s rules, if you leave the state for more than 24 hours, you either have to quarantine yourself for 14 days or have a COViD test 3 days prior to and four days after your return in order to come out of quarantine.

Hopefully this nonsense is abated by the time of our next trip. I am not to opportunistic.

My first Seiko. I'm always a calendar/day/date watch admirer. This one punches way above it's $ in the looks and reliability arenas so far. It's a quartz movement, comes with a manual where setup is 4 pages longer and more ambiguous than my Citizen chrono/perpertual calendar watch . Received it mid December, set it to an atomic clock I have in the workshop. It's still to the second 3 weeks later. Not bad....

 

He's either saying "All right" or "Oh Yeah"
