Edit: Ooh! Ubuntu on a tablet! That's gravy! The Unity interface my Ubuntu Netbook version runs could be fantastical on a tablet! Hmmmm.....

And, probably not too well. Although it's great for what it is, and we (yes, my wife has been using it more than me) mainly use it for quick web browsing.
Probably my major complaint is no Flash support on it, though.
Still, took it in the kitchen last night to read some ideas on BBQ drumstick recipes....very nifty for that!

After my rage dies down (the thought of them asking if I acquired an Apple product!), I explain to them "No".

On another tablet reference, I did check out some of the Asus Android tablets coming out soon, half the price of the listed Motorola tablet coming out, to which my wife said "Hey, we could get two for the price of that one!".......I lurves mah wyfe!

Time to bump engadget up in the rotation and find suitable alternatives for sci-fi news and "lifehacks."

Actually, I'm willing to give the new layout a shot--it's just that it's new. They definitely need to tweak a few things, though.

Have you seen the new $200 iPad that Apple is proposing?
I put it behind a spoiler so you wouldn't have to rage out over seeing it yet again, since it's been all over the tech gadget sites today.
