    Day 5 of my January Rule

    Tuxedo Synthetic brush
    Col. Conk Glycerin based Bay Rum Soap
    Gillette C1 Flair Tip
    Personna Blue (1)
    Proraso Green toning lotion w/menthol & eucalyptus

    Best shave of the set so far. Fresh steel makes a difference. When I did my inaugural 30 DC run I used Feathers 3 and done. Popular thought is to eliminate variables in ‘Focus’ training. I’ll use fresh steel every shave for a bit going forward.

    The Personna folks don’t use the dreaded ’glue dots’. They also spec there type as ‘caps’ and lower case. They would NEVER use the term ‘upper case’.

    No apology is needed Gary. We know your passion and appreciate your vast knowledge of the multitude of Gillette razors throughout the past century.
    I will be going forward with a week of Gillette shaves starting on Sunday. I just need to decide between the 1956 Blue Tip, 1959 Red Tip or the 1959 Flare Tip.
