The Twig from Leaf again and not a single issue. Just 3 solid passes and a BBS finish that left me with a nice grin and a quick giggle. Seriously, this razor has been a nice performer so far. It almost bridges an injector type shave with a cartridge type feel, if that makes any sense. Does not feel like a DE shave but, more like a hybrid between a DE, SE injector and a cartridge. I’m going to try it on more growth (3-4 days) and see how it fairs. A wonderful evening and shaves to all....

I received a brown and clear plastic case with the razor and an aluminum injector key(5 blades) with the razor, from a friend of mine. It looked new (not the case), but the razor was in new condition. After a quick wash, I decided to use it. I put one of the blades in, it was quite tuggy, so I replaced it with another I had. I’ve always felt these to be very light, and different to find the angle for. Today was no exception. But I persevered, three passes, and bingo, the bbs was there.
I felt so nice, I gave the one in my collection (no box) and the blade key and 6 blades (I used 1 out of the seven) to my brother. He has never used an injector and was curious.
So my bro gets a new razor, my collection gets a boxed item, and my face gets a bbs shave.

One answer found. This blade is still good but it has mellowed enough that more than a days growth and it can't handle the hair like earlier so a day or more I need to use a more aggressive razor for the first pass is all. End result BBS finish achieved.

Pre:
Cold wet flannel to my face.
Yardley ~ English Lavender Bar Soap + Nuage Menthol shaving Oil.
Brush: Yaqi 26mm Rainbow Brown Synthetic. (Faux Horse)
Face Lather.
Lather : Eco Warrior Bergamot & Lime Shaving Bar.
Blade: Tiger Platinum. (4)
Razor: Parker 24C.
Post:
Cold Water Face Rinse./Homemade (~Winter mix~) Lavender + Tea Tree Oil Witch Hazel Mixture./ Brut ~ Sport Style ASL.
Aloe Vera Gel.

An invigorating cold water shave to finish my shaving week off wonderfully.

The Tiger Platinum have performed really well throughout the week with no signs of dulling or tugging issues. I feel as though this blade could give another 1-2 shaves but i will retire it as 4 shaves from a blade is my normal limit. I can't see the point in pushing a blade to it's limit, blades are inexpensive why take the unnecessary risk of getting nicks & cuts just for the sake of a few extra shaves.
Third outing of the Eco Warrior shaving bar which performed wonderfully producing a slick protective lather in a short space of time...The soap has a wonderful scent, a good texture it's protective, slick and most importantly the lather doesn't dissipate or dry out on the face inbetween each pass, leaving an impressive post shave feel.
Over the Christmas period as a belated present to myself i placed a order for some Ach Brito Shaving Soap, another shaving soap bar which i will try out in future shaves.

A comfortable 3 pass + pick ups near BBS shave with no errors to report...Finishing to the shave off with a small dollop of Aloe Vera Gel.

My face is feeling super smooth & smelling divine.

Bright mist: always better than a blinding sun....

I went food shopping: I hate going food shopping!
If I found a very old, very sick woman with no heirs, I wouldn't hesitate to get married, so the housekeeper would do the shopping.
But I think I will be disappointed!

I was feeling dry skin this morning and needed a greasy soap and an efficient and mild razor.
The brush is a reasonably priced Finest with more than satisfactory performance.
The blade worked well, but it's not in my Top 3.
And the shave did not disappoint.

I'd rather find a wife and be disappointed with the shave....
