Fabulous shave, Blair, with a very shiny razor shave hatchet! :D I have a Rigarazor 7/8. I found it scary sharp initially, but found that the new Naniwa 12k/jasper combo edge really tamed it. Shaves are now buttery smooth. I’ll be stepping up into the shave hatchet arena myself in a month or two, whenever Glen finishes my new very old and rare 8/8 Sheffield stubtail. Glad you finished the shave despite the minor slice. Enjoy your shaves and stay safe out there. :)

Thank you Dave....it certainly begins with a less water/more soap (on the brush)plan. I'd like to succeed with MWF-very popular around here.,

Sonetimes the subpar shaves help us to overcome the problems of it. I would think that you bloomed the soap and soaked your brush with very hot water for 5 min.

It’s a very cool-looking safety razor, Jason! I’ll be interested in seeing the new toy! :)

Didn't go 5, but probably a lot longer than was necessary.

When blooming soap, I usually go at least 5 min.

I used to "bloom" Williams for the length of my shower, then rinse all the water out when just beginning the shave.

I’ve routinely been using twin blades in my Supply razor! I’ve been chucking them after 6 shaves. :)

The bar, originally called the Bull and Finch Pub inspired the show, however looked nothing like the set on TV. I believe, because of the popularity of the show, a place called "Cheers" opened up (in a different location) with a replica of the show's set.

Thanks for the explanation. (Note-in a few years, the way communication styles are changing so much, the word "explanation" will become "explanate". You saw that here first lol. Already, "invitation" has become "invite".)

You hid the Simpson. Since it is "Male Grooming Since 1912" it attracts me.
