I’ll never say never, Joe, but I’m nervous enough about this big 250+ yr old 8/8 wedge I’ll be shaving with. We’ll see how it goes! :)

Lovely Scrat shave, Gary! I’ll definitely be shaving with my British Rocket at some point during the week! Enjoy your day! :)

I have no expectations regarding blade lifespans, and I‘m not ‘blaming’ the tool! I use what I use and discard it when I wish. I take full responsibility! ;)

@MrEE, I'm considering an Omega boar knot for the LE handle. Will it be 24 mm? Any recommendation on loft?

I found this info on Omega brush model numbers with 24 mm knots compiled on another forum in case anyone is interested.

Fair enough my only point is people who read this stuff tend automatically assume the information applies in all cases so context is needed is all.

    Thank you, Charlie!
We are homebodies. One get on an airplane trip a year along with a couple of long weekend road trips is enough for us. That is subject to change though as time goes on.

Lovely shave, Bruce! Nice to have you drop in! I like Renaissance wax, and have used it successfully to kill celluloid rot on one of my straight’s scales. Great stuff! Enjoy your shaves, my friend! :)

On a great drugstore/grocery store product like Rise, I'm guessing it was reformulated due to cost/availability of raw materials or for regulatory reasons. No other good reason to mess with an already good formulation.

Road trips are always fun, and there is so much to see within a reasonable driving distance. The cool thing about retirement is that you can take your time and don't need to hurry back home.

Our first "big trips" were with Rick Steves tour groups. That was a nice way for us to get our feet wet on longer trips without having to plan everything ourselves.

You guys will have fun in whatever you choose to do!

Great combination and report Barry! Nice image also!

    Super cool everything there Dave!

Fun setup Clint, love the fall image with all the colors from your shave!

Excellent Danny. Big fan of the Simpson Trafalgar brushes meself. Cool vintage razor!

All this fraghead juice....must resist. Very cool lather results and continuation of your rule!

Love the details and that C-Mon razor Jeff! Such great determination and attitude with your sharing yesterday, keep on keeping on!

No Knicks methinks deserves a little higher finish Paul, even with a sub par lather (which is easily fixed vs. skin leakage heal time). Just sayin.....;):eatdrink047:

Very nice image and setup Pierpaolo!

Fun shave setup & image Gary! Scrat!

Superb work on the brush handle Bruce! Really cool matching with the finish on the CG razor. Nice job! Great drop in....need more!:eatdrink047:

Super cool DD razor Joe! Love the colors and setup combination.

Wonderful shave Dave. I looked at, but did not pull the trigger on that soap. It was around the time I was seriously contemplating the NB on soaps, which I have now had in place since June.
