    Thursday's Shave

    '54 Gillette Flare Tip (Z1)
    Rapira Super Stainless (2)
    Semogue 1520 Boar
    Stirling Electric Sheep Shaving Soap
    T.N. Dickinson's Witch Hazel
    Epsilon Blue Aftershave

    Day 7 of the Electric Sheep soap focus and day 5 with the 1954 Gillette TTO razor. All went as planned with a 2+ pass efficient shave this morning. My good fortune has continued as there are no mishaps or irritation to report.
    This is my 2nd shave using the Semogue 1520 and I am glad it was only $16. The paint is already starting to crack on opposite sides. :angry019:
    I have made sure not to submerge the handle in water, so I am perplexed as to what is causing the issue. Fortunately, the knot is already breaking in nicely (sooner than expected) and is doing a fine job with the face lathering.

    I am more concerned with some of his production of scents in the aftershave and toner may have been discontinued such as Bon Vivant.

    The focus was really on just how long these twin blades last and happening to use one in the same razor. Frankly I don't find using different soaps or brushes limiting how well of a shave I can get, just how comfortable it is while doing it.
