I know Bruce. I do want to start on the new hobby as soon as time allows. This week has been extremely stressful and I am glad it is coming to an end.

Happy Friday everyone. I was so beat yesterday that I forgot today was supposed to be a Fat Friday Shave and went with WSP Fresh Vetiver instead. I will do better next time. @Hembree Danny inspired me to use the Trafalgar T3 this morning. The brush represents a fantastic value for synthetic brushes with a knot, excellent backbone and flow through. Plus it just feels nice in the hands while lathering. Three passes and touch ups ended in a drama free BBS shave. I hope everyone has a great Friday.

Last day of home schooling, hopefully. The COVID are increasing in the school district. I think the problem may involve the ability to staff the buildings as more teachers are having to quarantine due to a positive test of themselves or someone in there family. I will keep my fingers crossed.
On to the shave. The new acquisition, the Shore Shave brush, had it’s maiden voyage. It is a heavier brush. I was able to get a nice at her, although the scritch factor came into play. Overall I did get a very nice lather. Can’t wait for the bristles to soften. I did my usual three passes that left the face smooth and refreshed. I did manage a weeper on my chin which easily disappeared by the end of the shave. Have a great day gentlemen.

I changed things up a little this morning and brought out the Weck Sextoblade this morning. I have three of these animals and a Weck Junior as well.

The T3 Trafalgar is a lovely brush and I am really falling in love with it. The Simpson soap is good stuff but I don't know if it is a soap I would replenish and keep in the den.

I used the Sextoblade for one pass on the cheeks and finished the rest of the shave with the Above the Tie Calypso with plate R1. The shave was good but just not where it needed to be. I probably need to do a mini focus with the Calypso. The alum was a little too warm this morning. A good splash of Pinaud Clubman Aftershave Lotion and am ready for Friday.

    Take care gentleman!

Oh...I almost forgot. I have an addition to the Above the Tie family that should be here today. :)

A much better shave today than yesterday. The Stoylin bodywash(in the shower)is a great setup for the shave...skin feels calmer, lighter. 0:45 to load the Maggard(in increments of 40 and 5 seconds). Fine overall coverage from the Razorock Gold soap. I encountered two problem areas one during each pass(2 passes). First one was as I was proceeding north on the N.W. side of Porcupine Alley-in the trenches, you might say. I suddenly stopped, as the razor was having trouble working its way up the whiskers. I didn't want to just give up, so I moved along, but got a nick as result. Perhaps I should grow a "mini-mustache" just in those areas(NW and NE Porcupine Alley), but that would make me look kinda silly, I would think. I'll do better tomorrow at negotiating those sensitive areas. The other area was a section of my lower lip-ot got some redness as I was doing S.Porcupine Alley(chin&jaw)on pass 2. No problems on Cactus, so that was good. Cheeks&sideburns the same. Clubman Special Reserve A.S. for the close." Monsiuer Pinaud Hits The Rockies!!". I'll say Very Excellent for this one.

I sent Patrick's @9nein9 Red Tip out to him on Tuesday of this week. I noticed that it is Miami as of last night. I hope they don't put it on the boat up the eastern seaboard to him. :D He may get by April.

That's funny Danny!! I still think they should have just driven my Bill Neumanns straight up Virginia and flown them up to Boston from DC. Shortest distance between two points is a straight line y'know?
