Not sure what you mean by 'epoxy glue', Joe. If you mean the glue holding the knot together, then no, you do not have to worry about water at all. Even people who steam knots out of brushes don't have a serious concern with the knot glue melting and crumbling the knot. If you mean the epoxy that many use to secure the knot in the handle, then that would depend on what product is used- different epoxies, silicones, etc.
I do hang my wooden brushes upside down to dry as you stated, but I do it solely for the wooden handle. As far as a resin handle or worrying about the glue inside the handle, it matters not a whit whether they are dried knot up or knot down, methinks.

Generally, every day is a MWF day, but I’ve been taking a break!

Nice shave, Danny. Kudos on giving the Weck a shot this morning. It might be a fun focus or rule for you down the road.

Congrats on the incoming razor. You've made quite a few acquisitions recently.

    Have a good one!

Understandable. However, it is all about the finish and which wood is used, to be honest. I have painted numerous brushes (the original 30DC LEs are good examples) and haven't had paint chip or crack really at all. Different woods will respond differently to moisture, but if a water repellant finish is used that wouldn't really matter. I use thin coats of a marine grade urethane and it seems to work well for protecting painted wood.

Excellent shave, Danny.! That heat could be attributable to the sextoblade. May not be the safety razor! :)

Congrats on the brush, Joe. Any idea what kind of boar knot that it is there? Always looking for new boar sources...
