The question you have to ask is "Does webOS have legs?"

I'm afraid it's going to have a hard time competing in a marketplace that's already got two big contenders. Even with HP's recent announcement, I'm skeptical of the viability of webOS.

 

This may be a bit premature, but I'm liking what I see so far.

yeah, that's the thing. WebOS is actually pretty great, but that's the main thing, Apple and Google are the major contenders, and even as good as WebOS is, it now has HP's name attached to it, which for many is a negative thing in itself.

I'm pretty sure I'll be sticking with Android, but half the fun of having no money to actually put towards the new toys is enjoying all the possibilities if you did.....it's actually when I do have the funds available to buy one that the fun will be sucked out of it.....(so Micah, when's that website idea of yours gonna come to fruition? :rofl)

You know, I wouldn't mind the new layout so much if they'd just put some freakin' scrollbars on the frames. A "jump to top" button might be nice, too. The biggest problem I have with going to .au is that the articles are australia-centric, meaning that prices don't jive, or the news is news for Australians, and not necessarily for U.S.-icans.

yeah, wasn't real crazy with the .au one for that reason, but it was something a little better.

I'm really like the ca. one, though (at least until they update their Canada (?) servers...)

I rent...so it's a cheap fix for me (a phone call to my landlord), but it might not be a cheap fix for them! I just hope they get someone out here quick because I wouldn't mind a shower sometime....

 

This would be great time to try out cold water shaving in the shower, if you haven't yet.

 

I can handle cold water shaving....it's the shower part that gets me. SWMBO's sister lives pretty close so if it's a huge fix we can shower there for the time being. It'll just be a pain in the butt to have to go back and forth just for a shower
