Friends, you've just witnessed the Hans Christian Andersen inspired moment in traditional wet shaving.

Thank you, Dave! I only have 5 modern razors (1 is the Dollar Tree TTO) in my collection, so I had no trouble picking a vintage Gillette for a 7 day run. :D

My daughter is very strong willed and likes to do things her own way at first, but usually chooses wisely in the end (making it appear that it was her idea).

    DE Shave # 315

    Rating: 5 / 5

    Razor: Muhle R41
    Blade: Gillette 7 O'Clock (Green)
Brush: Dogwood Handcrafts 26 mm Tuxedo
Lather: Los Jabones de Joserra Kilix
Aftershave: Los Jabones de Joserra Kilix
    Additional Care:
    Barbero Alum Block
Thayer's Witch Hazel - Aloe Vera
    Stirling Unscented Glacial Balm

Happy Saturday gentlemen. I had the opportunity to sleep in until 7:30. Definitely a rare occurrence.

I decided to use a soap that I have not used in a while. The Dogwood brush whipped up a moderately thick lather that easily covered the face for a three pass shave. The R41 delivered a comfortable and velveteen smooth shave. I have this razor dialed in and do not find it aggressive at all.

    Have a great day gentlemen.

The letter was a first class mail envelope. It was not even a box, so how could a first class envelope take so long. I wish our bills, electric etc, would take just as long. They have no problem showing promptly.

Thanks, Joseph. Your pics may have inspired me... :signs002:
Actually, as I have been organizing, I now have a nice clear space on one side of the bathroom counter that makes efficient work of the SOTD photos.
This Omega is the 2nd brush I ever bought, so it is now too stubborn and set in its ways to allow such a surgery...
Excellent advice though, that I may apply should I get another similar knot.

Dave, you sure have some interesting gear. Love the Clown Puke. Any grown man that takes the time to color a clown for a soap lid is twisted but OK by me. :D
