    3P Almond Shaving Soap~~dubl duck #4~~2011 Mühle R41/Gillette Platinum~~Old Spice
    Pushed the 3P to the hydration limit. While water is indeed your friend in wet shaving,
    when the density of the soap reaches critical mass, your protection suffers.

    That was sort of the situation with this shave.
    Even with a new Gillette Platinum blade, I never felt my skin was adequately protected from the blade.
    Sure, stubble gets removed, but the comfort level drops proportionately.
    Finished without bloodshed, but without that "Aaahhhhh" feeling.
    Completed the shave with some old-school Old Spice.     ​
