Beautiful morning here on LI. I had to get out early to head to Home Depot to pick up some light bulbs, a shower curtain Rod and shower squeegee. We had out bathtub/shower replaced this past Friday. Now we are able to get cleaned and refreshed in the more traditional way. No more washing up in the bathroom sink.

The 50+ Year Focus was started of with the birth year Red Tip. I have three vintage Gillette razors which will make an appearance this week. Each will be given two consecutive shaves and the final day of the focus, Saturday, will be determined by a flip of the coin between my two birth year Gillettes.
Excellent three pass shave and the shower has left me smooth, clean and refreshed.

PS: I have just been told that my stuff needs to go on birth control again.
SWMBO stated she had an addiction to some bath products.
I chuckled at that reply.
She stated, “Oh no, you have way more products that me. Mine fits in one container, yours is al over the place.

Fine shave this morning. Today was the first of what presumes to be 4 straight days(shaves)using Stoylin soaps. 0:30 and 0:10 to load the Jayaruh#59. I should have used hotter water and longer blooming time for it(the brush)prior to the loading. 2 passes-the first resulting in a couple red spots at NW and SE Porcupine Alley(upper left and lower right). The red spots threw me off stride shaving there, thus I left some astroturf that should have been history. But I did well everywhere else. My 2nd pass helped kill off what the first pass missed(which wasn't much, but still areas that should be cleared at first try). The cold-water rinse and Ramblin Man aftershave helped loosen SOME of the redness and gave me a nice fresh feel all over. Very nice scent to that Ramblin Man. Hoping to do better tomorrow with same, I'll give myself a Very Excellent.
