Anyone know what the Gillette Mach3 "aggressiveness " would be when comparing it to or matching it in aggressiveness when using a Gillette adjustable?

Tuxedo Synthetic brush
Col. Conk Glycerin based Bay Rum Soap, jacked by M-Bomb coolant
Gillette C1 Flair Tip
Personna Blue (1)
Proraso Green toning lotion w/menthol & eucalyptus

For variety, I added menthol solution to the soap before stirring the suds. This is not a violation of a 30 day rule. Those with disputes on this issue, please see the Network 23 legal team. They will be glad to augment your video feed with blipverts.

A real summer treat with these menthol solutions is to generously add high dosage amounts to a ‘dollar store’ Brut knock-off. After working outside and finding a shower didn’t quite cool things down, a healthy coat of the Frozone Brutus will make you feel like a new man.

Well, I want to say thanks to Gary for suggesting this Gillette focus for the week. I have not been using my Gillette razors and my other safeties on a more frequent basis so this focus is a good one.

I always start with my face shave. I used a brand new blade to start this focus. Did my new method of lathering and it developed into a nice, creamy, slick lather. It really looked so good. Did two passes and minor touchups for a BBS shave. Did reopen a weep on the stache, but no biggie.

Obviously, I had to reload the brush for my dome shave. I needed 3 passes to get BBS shave. There wasn't any mishaps and no irritation to be found.
Applied the witch hazel, balm and the matching aftershave (2x) on neck, face and dome. With the double portion of the Bay Rum, I am going to be smelling it all day. Oh yeah! Lol!
I will be using the Stirling Bay Rum all week because I want to kill it asap. The wake probably will not happen until the end of this month or the middle of Feb at the latest. That will be 3 down and 7 more Stirling soaps to go. I will be using my Omega 49 boar all week as well. Now, I may shave with the Fatboy '61 all week or use my other 3 Gillettes, but it depends on how I feel. Anyway, have a great day guys!

Well that is quite true. I believe it was @BaylorGator who said, kiddingly of course, that the main goal for 30DC members is to insult people .

 

Excellent shave, post and pic, Bill! It's rare to see someone using Col Conks glycerin soap. I know the scent strength is pretty mild, but how is the lather?

 

If I had to use a cart, I’d go with a Dollar Shave Club (made by Dorco). A buddy at work swears by them.

We did a swap, and nobody was converted. But, when I did my tests I found the pivot mechanism better, and less pressure was required with the DSC. DSC is now carried at the WallyMart in my neck of the woods.

I still have Mach3’s around and use one every once in a while to remind myself how crummy they are.

Almost no pressure is used by me with a Gillette adjustable on any setting. You have to mush in with a Mach3.
