How do you get it to hover like that? Mine doesn't hover

hole in the brush handle,or small pedestal to set the razor on behind it ..

Which would you like to see? I think the executive came out of the box Christmas 1958, but perhaps never out of the plastic case until I found it
She's my only trailer queen. The ranger tech gets used, but I think was also new when I found it with the blades still in the celephane.
