Great shave, Andrew! I came to the same realization regarding blade use, discovering that as my safety razor technique improved, limiting blade use to two uses led to velveteen bliss on my noggin, while heeding Chairman Keith’s (@Keithmax) principles for straight razor usage contributed to red fluid elimination on my mug with technique improvement. :)

Thanks, Clint! It’s a two time a year infusion process. I receive an eight hour infusion, recover over the course of a week, and then receive the second. Then wait six months and do it again. The results though are well worth the discomfort. My poor grandfather spent the last ten years of his life crippled from RA. These treatments prevent that for me for the most part. :)

Thanks, Joe! Everything went as expected! I’m really liking the shaves I get from this Shumate! Really holds an edge! How’s adventures in honing working out for you. Any time you want to do a zoom on the subject let me know! I’ll see if I can get Ben on the call with us. :)

Thanks, Myles, it did! I just need to recover a bit before round 2. Then I’m good for another six months! :)

Thanks Jeff! I am already called to go to the middle school tomorrow. I believe it will be for the entire week, but things can change.

    Greetings,

It's been a while since my much loved vintage Gillette slim twist has made an appearance in one of my SOTD set up's this vintage razor gives an amazingly comfortably smooth shave each time i shave with it. I repeat myself by stating each time that i shave with this vintage lady it still amazes me that a 50 year + de razor can still perform with such smoothness...A enjoyable 3 pass + pick ups close comfortable shave with no errors to report...Finishing to the shave off with a small dollop of Aloe Vera Gel.

My face is feeling super smooth & smelling divine.;)

Keep safe, and enjoy your day ladies & gentlemen.

This glue dot was so big that it got hung up sliding into the disposal on the back of an old Feather dispenser.

    The experience caused great distress.

Razor: EndGem Dot 1 3D Print Razor
    Blade: Gem (1)
Brush: "Bob Ross" Teton Zen Series
    Soap: Lakewood SOCP (1508.5 Project)
    AS 1: Humphrey's Alcoholado Maravilla 70
AS 2: Terre D' Hermes Splash
    Fragrance: Terre D' Hermes

This 3d print razor came in last night from slantman (Thank You) It's the Dot 1 of the 3. There are 3 different aggression level files available. I found it a nice shave result but would require a lot of chasing to get where I like to be. That said it was a comfortable shave although the head/handle angle felt awkward at least to me. This is comparing it to my TNNSR razor which feels more natural. I would definitely want the Dot 2 or perhaps the Dot 3 but without trying I wouldn't know. I appreciate the chance to try this and look forward to others thoughts on it. Thank you Jerry @shaveman for doing the pass around and Roger @SlimGem for contributing to the community by producing and making these available. The 1508.5 continues and we are making progress. Back to my Gillette 50+ Year Old Razors Rotation tomorrow. Have a great day Everyone !!
