    Wednesday's Shave

    '64 Gillette Slim Adjustable (J4)
Gillette 7OC Super Stainless (green) (2)
    Turn-N-Shave 'Potluck'
    Stirling Electric Sheep Shaving Soap
    T.N. Dickinson's Witch Hazel
    Aqua Velva Aftershave
Aqua Velva 5 in 1 ASB

Day 13 with the Electric Sheep focus. I really think it will become my first empty soap tub of 2021 before the month is finished. These 60 second brush loadings are really eating away at the soap, but they are also resulting in some wonderful lathers.
2+ easy passes with the Slim set on 7 provided a comfortable and efficient result this morning with no irritation or mishaps to report. The 7 OC Green blade did another fine job and having been used twice, it is off to the disposal bottle. The weather is cold, dry and breezy today, so I used another after shave balm. The AV balm is really a great product for the price. It absorbs quickly and has a slight woody/cedar scent to me.

    Yes it does Bill !

Thanks Dave ! I knew it wasn't a black beauty cause the handle is short .

Thanks Joe! Apparently it's a super speed.

    Thanks Clint!

Very scruffy and I am not a beard wearer type Danny. The red tip wont make it here for the focus but I will give it some attention when it does arrive.

    Thanks Joe!

    Thanks Gary!

Some embarrassment from Razorock. They emailed me to say they noticed I put a soap on my "cart" there, and will save it for me. Without mentioning my NB, I said I hadn't meant to hit "Cart", but I that I expect to order it "next year". The carts only last 30 days. I did tell them I am holding back on purchases this year, but as I say, I didn't tell them "what I am up against this year" :). Oh well, if I blow it this year, I suppose I'll have the "freedom" to order it at any time, but I'm still going strong on the NB. By the way, the soap was Puros.

Great lather Dave! Did it dissipate or hold up for the shave ? I hated MWF at first but getting better results with time.
    Great shave Joe!

    Beautiful razor Jeff!
Bad habits....haha good name Clint! Great shave!
    Awesome combo Danny!

Sorry about the mediocre shave Joseph. Could just be that you are getting used to the same thing every day. Doing a rule sure is a test of ones patience and will power.

    Very nice Jason!

My only advice for a better shave with it would be to cut the safety bar off Blair.;)

Great posts Bruce and good to see you again !

I enjoy the Tabac too Joe. I still laugh at the "old ladies purse" comparison.
    Great stuff Gary!!

Great shave Andrew. Haven't seen AV balm around these parts but if I do I'm grabbing some .

@9nein9 Thanks Patrick, no dissapation whatsoever. Not the best lather I've had but good protection and slickness. Loading plenty with a drier brush and adding water gradually/slowly. What you saw was what I had for 3 passes.

Oh I know you were teasing :). I always struggle with regular razors, but I've been informed that this one is somewhat more comfortable to operate.

Wonderful shave Clint. Another temptation in the post on the TSD: love quality boar brushes.

I have a 1947 Super Speed that I enjoy using. However, I don't care for my birth year (1964) Slim or Super Speed.

Great looking shave and photo Andrew. At least the sun is out today. I had grown tired of the dreary skies.

I agree with you on the results Dave. It does seem slick enough after it fades away. I find it lathers quickly but the lather disappears faster than modern Williams.
