Your brush has developed a beautiful patina, Patrick. The knot you picked for it matches very well. No one I knew of in my family used Brut, but like you I am a fan!

Great write up, Dave. Like you, I haven't tried MWF before either. Sounds like you didn't have to have a clandestine code to unlock the ancient secrets of the Knight Templar in order to lather it as well...

That razor looks amazing! You could have called it the Executive Red Tip.

Imho, Gillette made no finer shaver than that NEW LC, Jeff. I could easily shave with that every single day and be happy. Of course I won't actually do that, but I think I could...:happy036::happy097:

Glad to hear the issue was resolved, Blair. I'm a solid 'meh' on the consistency of those SV splashes. The scents are so phenomenal and supplement the soaps so well, though, that I have most of them to match. Ironcially, for that particular one though, while the Desert Vetiver is a stunning, magnificent scent, I am happy with the Fine Fresh Vetiver AS as a complement. Of course, that one is now about to become unobtanium, fwiw.

Thank you, Clint. Unfortunately, the past few days haven't been positive. This too shall pass.
I'll join you symbolically in a Four Roses or two...

Thank you, Blair! One day I may swap out the knot for a badger.

Thank you, Patrick. I bought it on sale at Target sometime in 2019 I believe. I haven't seen it there the last few times though.
However, after a quick check, I see it's available online via Walmart, Target, CVS, Amazon and ebay... ;)

Thank you, Clint! The sun was a welcomed change today!

    Thank you, Gary!

    Thank you, Joe!

    Thank you, Danny!

Thank you, Dave! With so many colors, it matches most any setup. :D

Agree on the TTOs in general, Bruce, and agree on the awesomeness of the Asian Plum as well. I have kept an English 'Crat Jr (aka Canadian Rocket) but have moved all my other TTOs on. The Red Tip is in a drawer (along with an EJ 89 and a '51 Tech) for my son to choose from, and I have a birth year SA 109 I'm going to move on to a friend who is the same age.

Since I shook the Rise A.S./Balm a bit, it appears a little more watery. That'is a newfocus for me-to use this product more than I have been since I put in my order to RiseIntl , I think 6 years ago, maybe longer. That website still exists, but there's no Rise product in it. It would be like @wristwatchb setting up a website called Ice Cream Treasures and keeping the website name when there are no more Ice Cream Treasures left.

Actually, Dannny, I was being goofy. I was referring to my disposeables...making it look like Gillette had two razor types out..the Red Tip and the Disposeable. :-

I feel your pain, Andrew. Years ago, I listened to my nephew's CD, and I think that song went on for 45 minutes. At least now I can associate it with ice cream. I picked up a fresh gallon this morning and dug in after lunch. Tomorrow, Kathy will get the full-on ice cream serenade complete with scoop and dance moves.

The second worst mind-bending song is "It's a Small World After All." Especially if it is sung by an elf with a sorpano voice. We were feeling goofy one year at an amusement park and made the mistake of riding the IASMWAA kiddy ride. Now anytime I sing the first line of that song, we still laugh about it. You're singing it in your head right now, aren't you?

Dave in KY On second thought, Buttercup

No it was easy enough. I may have been less successful if I wasn't already put on notice by reading how to lather it. May try again tomorrow as it should improve with more uses too...........oops got my 1508.5 going so not tomorrow.
That thar was funny but yeah the LC be nice for sure.

I can see it now, a candle light dinner, singing a few of your favorite songs and of course, the ice cream finale. That is what I call some enchanted evening.

When Ash was little we did Disney World a few times. We only did IASMW once and that was too many. That ride was never ending.
