Thank you Joe. I am really sold on the Semogue boar brushes. They seem to break in relatively quickly and don't stink out of the box. Now they need to drop a blue and yellow handle boar brush and I will be set.

Haha! Thanks for doing the Gillette focus to all who took part! I had read somewhere that was going to happen this week and then forgot!
However I am happy to report that everything is fine here. I am amazed at this old Gillette flare tip razor. I am very glad I got it. It was a bit of a learning curve at first but since I have been using it steadily it's become like second nature now and getting a BBS shave is quite achievable!

As for the lathering bowl it's now my preferred method of using the Wilkinson soap.

Thanks Clint. I liked my Mach III's but they were getting soooo expensive. I'm glad I started saving money this way all those years ago......I do get much closer and more comfortable shaves now though

Was the Semogue Galahad cheaper on Italian Barber than on Amazon?
I do like the Torga C5 that I have. I love the boar knots that I have in the den.

 

It's hard to believe how much money I have saved with the change.
