Why does my Flash plug in keep crashing in Linux Mint?

Holy dastardly sharks, Batman. That's awesometastic.

While I have no idea what that movie is, I do see where you're coming from.

It is a little bit ridiculous the way our society has been desensitized. I was at a comedy show tonight with a friend of mine and there was a woman in the row in front of us with a kid! He was easily shy of 12, though I couldn't tell how old exactly. It's 7:30 PM on a Saturday night in downtown Boston and you're bringing your kid to a stand up act? CRAZY. Mind you, they walked out about halfway into the show, after many, many curses and sexual references were tossed into the open, but it amazed me that 1. they were there in the first place and 2. they didn't leave after the first five minutes when it was obvious that it was going to be an inappropriate evening.

Ugh. Same here. Maybe it's cause of the tight fitting clothes? Haha.

    AAAAAAAAAaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

We went and saw Rango yesterday. My sis-in-law called and said they were bringing the kids down to see it, and so we used the opportunity to catch the film ourselves and see the kiddos.

Great movie, we loved, etc. However--had I seen it first, I would have recommended they not bring the kiddos. There were quite a few hells thrown around a couple of damns, and a couple of jokes that were definitely not for kids.

The Hunter S. Thompson cameo flew over the head of pretty much everyone in the sold-out theater, but the "are those real?" line and the mamagram joke were chuckled at uncomfortably by most of the adults. Even my 11 year old nephew walked out commenting on there being quite a few swear words.

It's a shame, because otherwise it was a good movie with a pretty good message. The visuals were amazing--I can't believe how far cg has come in the last several years.

But yeah, screen it before you let the kiddos see it.

Just got back from Disney World on Friday. Still not rested up yet. Man what a beating that is with three small kids.

We're in the middle of some real excitement from the shave side at TSD. But shaving is at most an hour per day activity. So what's happening with the other 23?

Sorry to hear that. I'm searching right now also, but I'm far from depressed at this point. I know the economy is a mixed bag right now and location and field can make a big difference. Best of luck and I hope things turn around quickly for you.

    A) job hunting is always difficult to find the perfect job, but there's always somewhere to work. That said, I figured it would be a little easier to find some part-time work, but even that's proving a challenge in this economy.
But, it's out there, be persistent and diligent, treat job-hunting as your current job.

    B) I notice new "Moderator" tags...interesting. Wonder if they're reserving the special "Pain In The A%&" tag for me.....:D

The best analogy I've seen all day--of course it's not even 9:00 am yet.

I almost forgot to tell y'all about my moment of awesomeness this weekend. After we went to see the movie, we moseyed over to the mall and perused the wares and entertained the kids while sis-in-law took care of some needed shopping. Being the "cool" uncle, I felt it was my duty to take my oldest nephew into the arcade to check out "what the kids are playing these days."

Well, as we walk around gaping at all the mo-cap games and blinky lighted shelf-drop challenges, I spotted a nostalgic blast from my youth. I called nephew's attention to the be-bowed yellow beauty and her ghastly pals traipsing around the labyrinth of a Ms. PacMan machine. As I proudly stated, "Now that's what I grew up on," I noted that the screen said "press start to begin." I reached over and tapped the "1 Player" button, and lo and behold the game started!

Made it through 3 levels and impressed the hell out of my nephew...

    Fortuitous moment, indeed.

And now, how exactly did this escape my awareness for so long?
