    A cut is a cut. However, if your technique is off, then I believe the Feather is less forgiving than milder blades. Paul has had a difficult time with disposables so that's why I said he needs to learn DE razor technique with a milder blade before Feathers. I would say the same thing for a newbie shavette shaver.

    Another great Yates shave, Clint. The handle on the razor looks rather thick in comparison with the head. I’m glad you're enjoying it! :cool:

    Thanks, Dave! Joe (@Trigger) would love this big bulky straight! I prefer a smaller handled and bladed straight, although I’ll have to wait and see what the new 8/8 stubtail shaves like after its spa treatment and new scales. :cool:

    Your Riga Razor is a beauty and it does have a reputation of being an excellent razor. At this point in my journey, I like all widths except anything below 5/8. However, my preference is for the larger widths.
